Distinguished Members,

It is with deep appreciation for your confidence and support that I have been elected President of the Taipei Association of Engineering Consultants. This position represents both a great honor and a significant responsibility to me.

At present, the world is confronting severe challenges brought about by climate change. Extreme weather events and increasingly frequent natural disasters are placing unprecedented demands on the resilience and sustainability of infrastructure. As engineering consultants play a critical role in planning, design, and construction supervision, we must continuously enhance our capabilities by integrating emerging technologies, intelligent tools, and sustainability principles, in order to deliver optimal engineering solutions while safeguarding ecological and environmental considerations.

I firmly believe that only through the continual advancement of professional expertise and cross-disciplinary integration can we help build environments that are safe, sustainable, and resilient. I look forward to working hand in hand with all of you to strengthen our Association as a professional cornerstone for national development projects, contribute meaningfully to sustainable development, and demonstrate the value of our professional expertise on both domestic and international engineering stages.
